To the pupils in 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th Classes,

Firstly thank you all for really engaging with last week’s nature task having spoken to the other senior teachers the standard of material they have all received has been excellent and it was great to see the children so engaged. This week we in the senior classes (3rd-6th) have chosen to dedicate the week to Science Experiments. I have included 5 hands on experiments that are easy to do at home over the course of the week (some take a number of days to fully complete) and we would ask that each child try at least one of the experiments and create a mini project through whatever medium they wish (book creator, youtube, slideshow, drawings etc). The children may of course do as many of the experiments listed below as they choose but please think of these as a guide if they find a science experiment online they would like to try themselves that I would love to see their mini project on it.

i) How to make 5minute ice-cream-https://science.howstuffworks.com/innovation/edible-innovations/ice-cream3.htm
ii) How to make Rock Candy with children-
