The Importance of Reading
Reading is one of the most valuable skills a child can develop. It sparks imagination, builds knowledge, and strengthens literacy skills that will benefit them for life. We encourage all families to make reading a daily habit and to take advantage of the excellent facilities at the Ballaghaderreen Library. A library visit is a great way to explore new books and nurture a love for reading!
Exciting News – More Books for Our School!
We are delighted to announce that the school has recently invested €5,000 in additional books for our pupils. These new books will be available in classrooms and our school library, ensuring that every child has access to engaging and inspiring reading material.
