Congratulations to Iaromir Kurochkin, a 6th Class pupil in St. Attracta’s. Last weekend there was a three-day national chess tournament at Dublin City University. Iaromir secured 2nd place in the national rankings. Competitors included many adults with national chess rankings. Congratulations also his brother Nikodim, a pupil in 1st Class who also competed in the tournament.
Our school’s Chess After-School Club in partnership with St. Nathys’ College is running everty Tuesday from 3-4pm. All weclome.
